No other team in history has lived up to the success of Supercross/Motocross as Mitch Payton and Pro Circuit, who celebrated their milestone 200th win this year. Monster Energy Kawasaki recently commemorated with Pro Circuit this long and successful streak, one that has been dominated by the current Supercross Lites West Champion; the Kawasaki KX250F.

There has been a lot of comment, talk, buzz, texting, and Tweeting about Endurocrosss (EnduroX) at ESPN?s recent X Games 17 in Los Angeles. EnduroX was new to X Games. And not only was there a ?normal? Endurocross, there was a Women?s race added as well.
And as far as we can tell, it was a huge success. We were there! (You can see Supercross.com?s coverage of X Games Day 4, which highlighted both Men?s and Women?s EnduroX, here.)Since there has been so much buzz regarding Endurocross, we decided to ?redux? it.First, let?s go back a bit. Remember the feature we did on Eric Peronnard? (It?s here for you to read.) Eric is the primary force behind Endurocross. Eric, among other things, invented the US Open of Supercross in Las Vegas. Mini Moto SX (Supercross), and Endurocross. We asked Eric about Endurocross and specifically EnduroX at ESPN?s X Games 2011.How did EnduroX happen come about?

When Vicki Golden turned pro in 2009, she went into the season open minded; she just wanted to see how she'd do in the Pros. It worked out pretty well for Vicki as she consistently finished in the top 4 in the first 5 rounds of the 2009 WMX season. After a season ending injury to Trey Canard, Geico Honda gave Vicki an opportunity to ride Trey's bike the remainder of the season of the Women's Motocross Series. It was a great experience as she finished 4th in Colorado, but her season ended prematurely as she injured herself in a practice session at Perris Raceway before the 6th round in Washougal.
In 2010 Vicki came back healthy and was picked up by Moto Concepts Yamaha. She wasn?t as consistent as she expected, but she did finish the season 4th overall points, with a 3rd place finish at the Pala Raceway National. In 2011 she will be running the #4 plate in the AMA Women's Motocross Series.

Vicki got back from Geneva, Switzerland a few weeks ago where she participated in a women?s supercross exhibition race with some pretty stiff competition.

Red Bull/KTM Factory is saddened to announce that their supercross / motocross rider Andrew Short was injured during a crash while testing and will sit out the remainder of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship Series.
Shorty, currently sitting 6th overall in the 450 Motocross class point standings, was testing in California earlier today. The team reported that testing went smoothly for the first half of the day and Short was riding exceptionally well considering the rough track conditions.
In the late afternoon he suffered a crash and was immediately transported to the hospital. After careful evaluation by his doctors it was determined that he has broken both elbows and his left wrist. Due to his injury, Short will sit out the rest of the season with an estimated eight week recovery period.

This week I caught up with Kevin Windham. In the video below, Kevin Windham talks about the Superbowl Champions, the NFL's New Orleans Saints, his family, his future plans for racing and beyond.
The Superbowl XLIV champions, the New Orleans Saints, have many fans - among them is none other than the number 14 in Supercross, Kevin Windham. While the NFL season started when Supercross was in its off season, Kevin was able to take part in season tickets to his favorite NFL team - da' Saints. Eventually the 2010 Supercross season got underway in January, which meant Kevin was flying off after those Saturday night Main Events back East to watch the New Orleans Saints Playoff games.
On February 7, 2010 the New Orleans Saints headed to the Superbowl in Miami, Florida and Kevin Windham and his wife Dottie made arrangements to attend this momentous occasion. First, however Kevin had to finish up a Supercross race in San Diego the night before.
